Who I am

This website is run by Hannah Coley, a sole trader trading as Talent Mechanics, based in London. I am the controller of any personal data described on this page. You can contact me about privacy at hello@talentmechanics.com.

What this website collects

The website itself does not collect any personal data. It has no cookies, no analytics or tracking, no advertising and no forms. The fonts and images are served from this website, so no third-party font service or embedded content is loaded.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and keeps short-term logs. If its security checks are triggered, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. This processing is based on my legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. Cloudflare may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Email

If you email me, I receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. Email is handled through Google Workspace, which may store data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. I use your details only to reply to you and, if we work together, to deliver that work. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries or, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

I keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to deal with them. If we work together, I keep records for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax, usually six years. I never sell your details or add you to marketing lists.

This site links to LinkedIn. If you follow those links, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data deleted
• restrict or object to how I use your data
• receive your data in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email hello@talentmechanics.com. I will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If this notice changes, I will update this page and the date at the top.
